Happenings at the Dorris house

It's been awhile since my last post and I though I'd catch everyone up on our lives. It has been a busy couple of months. On March 20 we drove 5 hours to my parents house to spend the weekend for my Dad's birthday. We had a lot of fun visiting with Mimi and Gramps. On Saturday we all went to the childrens' Museum in Cincinnati for a fun day of hands on learning. It was crazy in there though, because of the dinosaur exhibit and IMAX movie at the same location.

This past Thursday we were excited to hear that my cousin gave birth to her third child, a baby girl Brier. We are so excited for the newest family member and can't wait to meet her in person. On Friday, one of our closest friends had her second child, a boy Leighton. We are also very excited to have a new friend to play with and grow up with. This prompted our oldest, Noah, to start asking for a baby brother. He is sad that all of his friends are getting babies, but he is not. He loves babies, always has, and he tells us all the time that he wants just one more baby. Never mind that he has 2 younger siblings already. He is a little bit mad at us since we told him that he would not be getting another baby. Hopefully, seeing his friends new siblings will help him get past it. (If Noah and I could talk his Daddy into it we would love another baby in the house, Daddy is not going to be talked into it)

The boys are learning so much at school. I am reminded each week how blessed we are to have gotten them into such a wonderful preschool in the middle of the year. Their program is fantastic and the teachers are the best.

Here are a couple of pictures from our weekend with Mimi and Gramps.
